Which person (dead or alive) would you most want to dance with if you could? ZC: Sylvie Guillem If a child told you they wanted to be a dancer, what would your advice be? ZC: That's a tough one... I would say follow your dreams, but dance only if you truly love it. If you could be an animal, what animal would you choose and why? ZC: Wolf, just because they are pack hunters and I like when something is achieved through team work. What is your greatest indulgence? ZC: Riding my motorcycle with no set destination. What 3 items do you always have in your bag with you? ZC: Ballet shoes, head phones and cigarettes, unfortunately. What career would your family have chosen for you? ZC: Dance. What is your idea of perfect happiness? ZC: Ignorance (like that happiness you had as a little kid), yeah that. Who would you most like to have a coffee with (could be dead or alive)? ZC: Johnny Depp, because he is a great artist. What is your favorite city to tour to and why? ZC: Tokyo, I love the people and the food. What is your biggest mishap in a performance? ZC: I've had many.... nothing catastrophic, but one that sticks out to me is in the ballet "Union Jack" by George Balalanchine, there is a Scottish Tattoo parade section that I completely lost track of where I was and was walking around out of line and in a stupid hat. Is there a special meal that you have before performances? ZC: No, not really.
